Mindful Inquiry
The Four Foundations of Mindfulness
Neuroscience
Aside from delivering 8-week MBSR courses, I take individuals through one-to-one programmes. I also employ mindfulness in the workplace and am co-founder of 2point46 which delivers bespoke mindfulness-based programmes and events in the corporate world. With a background in HR, I see a significant synergy between mindfulness and organisational development.
I teach mainly in Reigate but travel to companies to deliver on-site workshops and events. I attend annual retreats at Gaia House and fulfil my CPD requirements to remain abreast of the latest developments in mindfulness. I have an interest in how neuroscience may benefit the mindfulness community.
Mindfulness helps us live healthier lives and also helps at times of crises. We become more aware of our resourcefulness; we become skilful in the face of adversity and creative in life.
What is the importance of professional guidelines such as the UK Network’s Good practice Guidelines to you and your teaching?
It’s important to have standards for the sake of the teachers and clients to ensure a code of ethical approaches, good practice and consistent delivery.
