Last November we spent a glorious, engaging and stimulating couple of days looking deeply at the family within which mindfulness is located, including the differences between teachings in a range of schools. We also spent some wonderful hours with Dr Bill Young looking at what neuroscience tell us about mindfulness.

The training weekend was well attended by a cross-section of CMI teachers at various stages in their mindfulness teaching journey’s and provided additional breadth and depth to the understanding developed during teacher training. We spent the time listening, learning, practicing and sharing experiences.

Personally it was wonderful to spend time in the company of great teachers, being part of the CMI community and deepening my understanding that I can take into my own practice and classes, and I’m really looking forward to Dr Bill’s return in the spring!
